OUR FACILITIES AND PROCESSES
Precision, Efficiency, and Full-Cycle Production
Clark Lumber’s vertically integrated facility in Lafayette, Tennessee is equipped to manage every stage of hardwood lumber processing—from raw logs to ready-to-ship lumber. Each step is carefully controlled to maintain product integrity, sustainability, and delivery speed.

Log Intake & Debarking
We begin by unloading raw logs and removing bark, prepping each log for optimal sawmill performance and clean processing.

Sawmill Operations
Our head saw and re-saw systems cut logs into dimensional lumber with exacting accuracy, tailored to a range of customer needs.

Green Lumber Stacking
Freshly sawn boards are sorted and stacked for air-drying prior to kiln loading—an essential step in maintaining wood integrity.

Kiln Drying & Boiler System
We operate a boiler-powered kiln system to remove moisture and condition lumber to precise specifications, ready for domestic or export use.

Grading & Quality Control
Every board is inspected and graded by NHLA-certified professionals to ensure consistency, value, and adherence to industry standards.

Shipping & Logistics
Finished orders are packed and loaded by our in-house team at Bran-Em Trucking, allowing us to control timing, safety, and nationwide delivery.
